Cricket Coaching Testimonials

 Testimonials

Here are some of the Testimonials from our coaching clients and their parents;

Steven Mullaney (Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Lancashire County Cricket Club, England Under 19s, McKinnon CC)

"I have worked with Chris for the last 4 winters and he has helped my game enormously. Our coaching sessions were at Saxon Sports in Frankston. We worked on batting, bowling and fielding. The video analysis is a fantastic tool. There is no need to keep stopping and starting sessions due to the professionalism of the video lane. I would advise anyone who is available to 100% give it a go"

Karl Brown (Lancashire County Cricket Club, England Under 19s, Noble Park CC)

"I had a great chance to work on my game at saxon sports with Chris and felt that i improved very quicky which enabled me to go back to england and hit the ground running. you can never stop improving in cricket and Saxon Sports gives you a great opportunity to do that with great facilities and coaching".

Dave McKay (Washington Park CC)

Just wanted to say thanks for all the hours of work that you spent with me over the last month.

Saturday was the most important innings that I have ever played and I could not have done it without you.

Not only were you an integral part of the win but you have contributed to the club's move into the premier division of our competition.

I can't thank you enough mate.
John Colquhoun on behalf of son James (Baden Powell CC, The Peninsula School Cricket Development Squad and MPCA Mitchell Shield Representative)

"I have had extensive coaching from Saxon Sports Frankston, namely Chris, Jack and John for my son James, at a club level, group level and one on one. Undoubtedly, my son would not have achieved the personal success he has known at a team level, school rep level, and Rep Level without their fine work and guidance. Both James and I thoroughly recommend Saxon Sports Frankston, and especially to Chris, thanks for all the dedication, advice, and friendship you have extended.
If you want to reach the best you personally can in cricket, Saxon Sports Frankston shows the way."

John Jovic on behalf of son Brendon Jovic (Frankston Peninsula CC, Delacombe Park CC)

"I didn't know what to expect at first, but was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge, professionalism and care shown by all the coaches towards my son. I thoroughly recommend Saxon's to anyone looking to improve their cricket."

Janet Jovic on behalf of son Brendon Jovic (Frankston Peninsula CC, Delacombe Park CC)

"As Parent's we wanted to provide our son with the opportunity to reach his cricketing potential. The level of knowledge shown by Chris & Brett was immediately evident & we knew Brendan was in good hands. What impressed us the most was their respect for what Brendan needed as a young developing cricketer & their enthusiasm for his ability. The level of communication has been excellent & the teaching aids used have assisted us before, during & after each coaching session. We highly recommend the fast bowling program to any young cricketer male or female & look forward to watching Chris & Brett support Brendan in the next phase of his development."

Brett Jakes on behalf of son Michael (McKinnon CC Under 12s)

My son Michael is 11 and has benefitted enormously from 4 batting lessons with Chris Hall this season. Chris has a unique ability to talk to people at their level and simplify what is not an easy art! Most importantly he is encouraging yet quietly firm – a combination that Michael responded to well. Thanks Chris – Brett Jakes

Cate Caven on behalf of son Liam (Flinders CC Under 12s)
"My son loves cricket. He has participated in a variety of different learning experiences during the last 12 months.
The Cricket Academy, got him through the winter, cold cricketless months. His skills have improved enormously!"

Daniel Rice on behalf of daughter Nat (Dandenong Womens CC)
"Thanks Chris for your expertise in coaching my daughter Nat. Nat would always say you introduced her to the game. She had her first season with Dandenong Women’s Cricket Club’s 2009-2010. Good luck to Saxon Sports.

Nick Chalmers on behalf of Ned & Will Chalmers, Wedderburn

"Ned normally only bowls (sprays) the odd ineffective over each game as a part-time 1st or 2nd change bowler to give the main bowlers a rest, but by following your recent advice, he managed his best bowling effort, if not figures, against the top order of top side on the weekend. Only 3/48 off 10, but all wickets in slips, all but 4 runs through edges or French cuts (4 french cut 4s in a row in one over). Also had 3 dropped catches in slips. By removing the top order, the rest fell quickly and the team got to bat again for 2 hours before stumps, with the 2 boys making an undefeated century partnership for the first time at senior level.

Only very modest performances in a very modest rural comp, but both boys feel that your friendly, fun, but serious coaching efforts have helped them greatly in a very short time. They particularly like the fact that you spend a lot of the time talking about different aspects rather than trying to get as many balls in as possible.

Thanks again for your efforts, and we hope to keep coming down over the coming year."
